Intro:Today we did an experiment based on Newton's first law of Motion. The point was always using different objects/masses and measuring how far they traveled, when the soccer ball hit the platform on which the object was seated on. A challenge was keeping the applied force was always the same which was essential, for keeping the test fair .We recorded the results in to a table, which we turned into a graph. The graph is right down here!
The Egg drop experiment represents the law of Inertia, which is the the first of Newton's three laws. That Law explained, that an object in rest can only be moved by another Mass, transferring weight on it.
Aim:Our Aim was to see a trend/connection,in terms of how far the different masses traveled.
Things we could change

Materials needed for final experiment t Nike Soccerball(manchester United),Masses(different weights) and thin piece of card board
